ELO11G '10-'11 Reflection
This class was probably the coolest because of iPads. Yeah!!! The class was often quiet except for some boys in the other side of the classroom. Also this class is different from any other English Class where you do a lot of essays. In this class, I've learned the SEPC pattern of doing a paragraph, One and Two-way communication, the things you must know in cameras -- angles, position and lightning, in this class I also learned about the netiquette and of course I learned to blog and use the wikis :)

Case Study Reflection -- Rules of Netiquette
The case study was awesome. The story is nice and not far from reality which makes me think of the Rules of Netiquette (short for "network etiquette" or "Internet etiquette"), a guide on how to act while in the Internet World. So, I noticed that in the story, the characters broke almost all of the rules.
Lets try to discuss every rule they break. Rule 1: Remember the Human, meaning always keep in mind that beyond the screen of your computer, you're still talking to a human, a human who has feelings just like you. Kim and Jordan(the main characters) broke this rule, Jordan post a numerous inappropriate posts on other people's wall while Kim created a group in MySpace thats against Jordan. The group she created is called "People Who Think Jordan Sucks". They didn't think what might others feel about this. Especially the person involve. Rule 2: Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life, meaning what you do in real life do it while you are using the internet. But in the case study I think Kim and Jordan lack RESPECT for each other. Im pretty sure they are respecting each other in face to face. Doing the group shows that Kim doesn't respect Jordan. On the other hand, Jordan didn't respect Kim's decision. Rule 5: Make yourself look good online. Jordan, by posting those inappropriate posts tells that he is not a good person. In this world, he'll be judge without knowing the real story and that makes him look bad online. Rule 7: Help keep flame wars under control, again, Kim and Jordan broke this rule. Instead of talking face to face, they quarell online. Rule 8: Respect other people's privacy. Jordan once again broke the rule. Jordan opens Kim's MySpace account without permission and even read her private messages. And last, Rule 9: Don't abuse your power. Jordan for the last time, in my opinion broke this rule. He abuses his power, the power of knowing Kim's email address and password.
So yeah, those are my point of view. Hope that someday it won't happen to me or to anybody. The rules of netiquette really helps. Try to understand and reflect.

Advanced Digital Technology.. Helps or Destroys?
Advanced digital technology have been a big issue nowadays. Some abuses what they can give and become addicted. There are a lot of things we can do to those advance digital technology BUT the question is are these helpful in making our world a better place? Or it's just destroying and distracting our world?
Well, in my opinion, it depends on the person using it. If you know your limitations as a user then it's helping you. For example, you're stressed and want to feel relax and at the same time enjoy, you can go online or play with your playstation or Xbox. However, playing the whole night/day every single day is not really good that is when the bad side of advance technology comes out, that's when you're world slowly is being distracted or destroyed by technologies.
Technologies can be really helpful in today's life. Especially now that it is improved and way better than before. It helps making our work easier and faster especially comouters. However, discipline is so much needed.
